A Warm Day has me breaking out the Peach Tea

Unseasonably warm weather has me dreaming of sunny spring days ahead, so I enjoyed a cup of Harney & Sons Decaf Midsummer's Peach today.

This deep black decaffeinated tea is redolent with the aroma of summer peaches before you ever get it to your mouth. It is heavily flavored, although there are no discernable peach pieces in the copious amount of black tea leaves found in each silk tea sachet. It also ends with a strong tang. With flavor this strong, it is important not to overbrew it, so limit your brewing time to 3 minutes or less. The flavor is also heavy enough, and the leaves are sufficiently large, that it can be rebrewed at least once without losing its appeal.

If you need to watch your caffeine in the afternoon, this makes a very satisfying cuppa later in the day. I have yet to find a Harney & Sons tea that I did not enjoy. They consistently produce a high quality brew. Peach tea almost always pleases me, but this one is especially lucious and can transport you to a warm summer day.

Amazon carries two sizes of this delicious flavor, but the bag definitely gives you better value for your money. The larger bag gives you 50 generous tea sachets, and there is definitely more than a teaspoon of tea in each one. This works out to about .60 per generous cup, but it can be rebrewed. Hope you will consider adding this to your collection.
