Honey Tea Spoons Perk up Kenyan Black

We've been enjoying our Christmas treats, and a friend generously shared some smooth Kenyan black tea that she got on a recent once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

The tea was delicious on its own, but it was taken to the next level with the addition of a Melville's lavender honey tea spoon. These come in various combinations - my gift pack had eight spoons in an attractive package. The honey slightly sweetened the richness of the tea. The lavender flavor was quite light but added a slight flavor profile that enhanced the drinking experience. The tea does need to be quite hot to melt the spoon, and you could use one spoon in two cups, for a less sweet treat.
