Plum Deluxe February Offerings

Valentine's Day calls for a tea that pairs well with chocolate. Plum Deluxe's February offering of Almond Cherry L'Amour Black Tea meets and exceeds that standard. This smooth black tea has a sweet, slightly cherry flavor with a strong almond finish. The loose leaf tea has black tea leaves, chunky apple pieces, along with delicate hibiscus petals and almond and cherry essences. Although I'm not sure I would want this tea every day, it's highly appropriate for this lovely time of the year.

Plum Deluxe monthly teas are available by subscription and arrive in a cheery purple package with a small bonus flavor to entice you to branch out to their other offerings. Almost all the flavors I've received have been delicious. Definitely recommended!

Plum Deluxe's subscription bonus this month is Gratitude Blend Black Tea, described as a Strawberry Earl Grey. This rather delicate black tea has orange peels, blue cornfowers, strawberries, raspberry leaves, bergamot oil and strawberry essence. This is an unusual but tasty strawberry version of the classic Earl Grey, reminiscent of a Lady Grey. It has a nice strawberry finish with a slight note of raspberry. This unusual combination is surprisingly tasty and definitely recommended.
