Winter is the right time for Tea of Good Tidings

Smooth, deep, wintery, delicious! The Republic of Tea's Tea of Good Tidings is always a winter favorite.
This luscious black tea has a wonderful collection of spices added to the mellow black tea, including juniper berries, orange peel, cranberries, cloves, rose petals, almonds, vanilla, black currants, blackberry leaves, cardamon seeds and (disappointingly) "natural flavors."
This tea starts with the earthy notes of the berries and cloves, and finishes smoothly with vanilla. My palette is not sophisticated enough to pick out each individual flavor, but the combination is definitely pleasing.
I only drink this tea in the winter, as it is too heavy for the other seasons. It's also gotten a little hard to find. You have to search for it on the Republic of Tea's website; it's usually not in their catalogs.
When we were are able to mingle again (come on, vaccine), this would be a great cuppa to share with a cozy chat.
One of my all-time favorites, this tea is definitely recommended.
