Tasty Decaf Blend from a Favorite Tea Supplier

The Republic of Tea

has many tasty offerings, including their Decaf Wild Berry Plum Green Tea. Since giving up caffeine after noon, I've been looking around for decaf rather than herbal tea blends, and this is a a good alternative. The Republic of Tea uses a unique round stringless bag, which is nicer for the environment. Unfortunately, the tea and flavoring pieces in the bag are all very small. There are very small green tea fannings, with tiny black currant pieces. The ingredient list also includes natural raspberry, plum, black currant and strawberry flavors. This blend is surprisingly dark in the cup, but it produces a smooth blend. It definitely has a black currant flavor, with complementary berry flavors. This tea is particulary refreshing iced. Overall, it's definitely recommended, although it doesn't have the flavor abundance of some of the loose leaf blends with larger tea and fruit pieces.
